Robby Atherton Foundation

In celebration of Robby’s life and his love of children, athletics and the community, the Robby Atherton Foundation’s mission is built on three main pillars

  1. To help children, young adults and their families who have experienced life changing hardships
  2. To assist other local non-profit organizations that have similar goals of helping children, young adults and their families that have experienced life changing hardships
  3. To support and promote a strong sense of family and community involvement through a focus on athletics and education.

Growing up in Macomb County, Robby Atherton impressed many as a star basketball player.  His love for life and passion about his hometown spread throughout those who knew him. Through this Foundation we have been able to donate scholarships, provide help for families and build up our community.  Although Robby has passed, his spirit will live on.

      The Robby Atherton Foundation has again teamed with Vision Hope. Vision Hope runs at two week Champions for Life Kids Camp for helping abused and neglected children. We are happy to be sponsoring and volunteering at each week’s ”Carnival Day” for the kids.

      5th Annual Golf Outing

      5th Annual Golf Outing

      Start: August 20, 2012 10:00 am

      Our largest event and primary fund raiser. Last year, the 4th annual Robby Atherton Foundation Golf Outing was attended by 200+ golfers and 400+ dinner guests. The full day event includes complementary morning golf, driving range, 18 hole 4-person scramble, games/ prizes/ raffles, lunch and dinner. During dinner, donations will be given to this year’s Robby Atherton Foundation Recipients. A heartwarming evening that follows a great day on the course. Individual golfers, personal donations, corporate sponsorships and dinner guests are all a vital part of making this day a success
